Russ Browder is an Assistant Professor of Entrepreneurship at the University of Oklahoma's Price College of Business. His research focuses on technology's role in entrepreneurship and innovation, particularly in crisis response, maker movements, and digital transformation. He holds a PhD in Entrepreneurship and MDiv from Baylor University, an International MBA from IE Business School (as a Fulbright Scholar), and has extensive industry experience in healthcare IT and nonprofit sectors. Browder teaches global entrepreneurship and leadership at both undergraduate and MBA levels.
His research has been published in top journals such as the Journal of Business Venturing and Entrepreneurship Theory & Practice. Key themes include organizational resilience, pandemic response strategies, and the impact of makerspaces on innovation ecosystems. He actively explores how technology and collaborative learning environments drive entrepreneurial success in diverse contexts.
