Ruoxin Xiong is an Assistant Professor at Kent State University's College of Architecture & Environmental Design, based on the Kent Campus. His research focuses on human-system dynamics, leveraging advanced data technologies to address risks in construction and infrastructure systems such as industrialized construction, airport operations, and bridge management.
Education: Ph.D. in Civil and Environmental Engineering from Carnegie Mellon University.
Research Interests: Combines engineering principles with data-driven methodologies to enhance decision-making in complex systems. Current work spans infrastructure resilience, operational risk mitigation, and smart construction practices. Utilizes tools like sensor networks and predictive analytics for real-world applications.
