Mario Bergés is a Professor in the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering at Carnegie Mellon University (CMU), where he serves as faculty co-director of the Smart Infrastructure Institute and director of the Intelligent Infrastructure Research Lab (INFERLab). His work focuses on enhancing infrastructure efficiency and resilience through information technologies, particularly in energy systems and smart buildings.
