Rune Kjærsgaard Andersen

Rune Kjærsgaard Andersen is a Postdoctoral Researcher at the Department of Immunology and Microbiology within the Faculty of Health and Medical Sciences at the University of Copenhagen. He is affiliated with the Skin Immunology Research Center, where he conducts research on hidradenitis suppurativa, a chronic inflammatory skin condition.

His research interests span dermatology, immunology, and genetics, with a specific focus on hidradenitis suppurativa pathogenesis, genetic susceptibility, epidemiology, and associated comorbidities.
