Christos C. Zouboulis

Professor Christos C. Zouboulis is a distinguished academic and clinician holding a Professorship for Dermatology, Venereology and Allergology at Brandenburg Medical School. He serves as Chief Physician at the University Clinic for Dermatology, Venereology and Allergology, which is part of the Immunological Center at Dessau Municipal Hospital. Having joined Brandenburg Medical School on June 6, 2017, Professor Zouboulis has been instrumental as the founding professor in his field, working to establish dermatology and venereology as a compelling specialist option for students.

Professor Zouboulis's research focuses on the physiology and pathophysiology of the sebaceous gland and hair follicle, with particular emphasis on hidradenitis suppurativa/acne inversa and acne vulgaris.
