Ruigang Wang is a Professor in the Department of Chemical Engineering and Materials Science at Michigan State University’s College of Engineering. His research focuses on energy storage materials (e.g., metal-sulfur, aluminum-ion, and solid-state batteries) and emission control catalysts for applications like plasma-assisted CO₂ hydrogenation and chemical looping carbon capture. He specializes in oxide nanomaterials synthesis and advanced transmission electron microscopy (TEM) techniques for atomic-level structural and chemical analysis.
