Rui Xue is an Honorary Associate Professor in the Department of Applied Finance at Macquarie University, serving as Deputy Director of the Centre for Corporate Sustainability and Environmental Finance and affiliated with the Smart Green Cities Research Centre. Their research focuses on environmental finance, digital finance, climate finance, and Fintech, with interdisciplinary work on corporate sustainability and low-carbon strategies.
Recent projects include investigating cryptocurrency markets and developing climate-resilient digital finance platforms for NSW communities.
