Yinon Rudich is a Professor at the Department of Earth and Planetary Sciences and currently serves as Dean of the Faculty of Chemistry at the Weizmann Institute of Science. He holds a Ph.D. in Chemical Physics from the Feinberg Graduate School (1994) and has held academic roles since 1997, progressing from Senior Researcher to Associate Professor (2002–2008) and full Professor (2008–present). His research focuses on aerosol optical properties, atmospheric chemistry, and their impacts on climate and health. Rudich has led the Department of Earth and Planetary Sciences (2016–2019) and has been extensively recognized, including Fellowships from the American Geophysical Union and Royal Society of Chemistry.
