Rudi Rohlmann

Rudi Rohlmann was a lecturer at Wiesbaden University of Applied Sciences for Public Administration with extensive leadership roles in German educational organizations. He served as Executive Chairman of the Hessian State Association for Adult Education (1968-1971), Chairman of the Hessian Adult Education Association (1971-1981), and Executive Chairman of the German Adult Education Association (1979-1985).

His academic work focused on adult education policy and history. Rohlmann edited the Hessian Journal for Adult Education for two decades and published historical analyses of educational development in post-war Germany.

Political engagement included membership in the Hessian State Parliament (1958-1962, 1965-1982) and service as parliamentary manager for the SPD faction. He chaired the Broadcasting Council of Hessian Broadcasting Corporation for ten years (1970-1980).
