Ruby H.N. Nguyen is a Professor at the Division of Epidemiology & Community Health, School of Public Health, University of Minnesota. She holds a PhD in Epidemiology from Johns Hopkins University and an MHS in Epidemiology from the same institution, with a BA in Microbiology from the University of Minnesota. Her research focuses on maternal, child, and family health; environmental impacts on child development; domestic/sexual violence; and Asian American wellbeing.

Nguyen leads a cohort study on endocrine-disrupting chemicals like phthalates in child development and investigates vulvodynia and chronic pain in women. Her recent publications span topics in pediatrics, epidemiology, and environmental health, emphasizing social vulnerability, dietary factors, and microbiome interactions.
