Ruben van Wingerden is a Lecturer at the Tilburg School of Catholic Theology, affiliated with the Texts in Contexts research group. He completed his PhD in 2023 at Tilburg University, focusing on historical aspects of Roman crucifixion and early Christian responses to suffering.
