Rozina Jaser is a Practitioner in Residence at the Biology and Environmental Science Department within the College of Arts and Sciences at the University of New Haven. She coordinates online sections of General and Human Biology I for non-majors and teaches various Biology majors’ courses.

Her research focuses on tissue regeneration, particularly periodontal ligament and gingival connective tissue cell regeneration on natural and synthetic membranes. This experience shapes her teaching philosophy, which emphasizes active learning and collaborative problem-solving to ignite student curiosity.
She holds CT State Certifications in Biology (7-12) and General Science (7-12). She was recently honored with the Faculty Excellence Award for her dedication to students and teaching innovation.
