Kobi Stern

Kobi Stern serves as Professor in the Department of Periodontics at the Dental College of Georgia, Augusta University, with clinical expertise in periodontal surgery and implantology. He holds dual diplomate status from the American Board of Periodontology and International Congress of Oral Implantologists.

Recent publications (2019-2023) demonstrate consistent output in clinical periodontics, featuring case reports, literature reviews, and surgical technique analyses. Dominant themes include predictability of buccal bone augmentation, integration of orthodontic movement with regenerative procedures, and management of complex mucogingival defects.

Administrative leadership spans departmental P&T committees and General Dentistry search committees.

Active in clinical education infrastructure, he chairs the DPG Clinical Faculty Peer Review Committee and Continuing Education Committee while developing curriculum through courses spanning surgical periodontics, oral implantology, and undergraduate teaching rotations.
