Roxana Ehlke

Roxana Ehlke is a Researcher and PhD Candidate at Justus Liebig University Giessen, associated with the Collaborative Research Center (CRC) 134 'Dynamics of Security' as part of Subproject C05 on 'Financial Infrastructures and Geoeconomic Security'. She holds a M.A. in International Relations from the Technical University of Dresden (2016-2022) and a B.A. in Political Science and Political Economy from Ruprecht-Karls-University Heidelberg (2012-2016). Her research focuses on financial sanctions, geopolitical dynamics, and the post-Soviet space, with a specialization in global political economy.

Previous roles include a research internship at the University of Tehran (2017-2018) and tutoring duties in the German Law program at the Siberian Federal University of Krasnoyarsk (2020-2022). Her current research explores the intersection of financial infrastructures and geoeconomic security, particularly in post-Soviet contexts.
