Rouzbeh Ghahreman is an academic and educator affiliated with the University of Alberta's Faculty of Education and NorQuest College in Edmonton. He holds a Master's in History from his homeland and a Master's in Special Education (Deaf Education focus) from the University of Alberta. He has extensive experience teaching Deaf students and educators, including serving as a Sessional Instructor teaching 'Introduction to Deaf Studies and Deaf Education' at the University of Alberta (2009–2015), for which he received the 2012 Graduate Teaching Award. He also taught ASL and English as a second language to Deaf newcomers at NorQuest College.

His teaching philosophy focuses on empowering students through ASL's five parameters (handshape, location, movement, palm orientation, facial expression).
