Rosie Essery is a Senior Research Fellow at the University of Southampton, specializing in Health Psychology and behavior change interventions. She serves as the Academic Programme Manager for the Acne Care Online study, which develops digital tools for acne management in youth aged 13-25. Her work emphasizes the Person Based Approach, integrating user experiences into intervention design.

Rosie’s research spans chronic disease management, cognitive health in aging, and public health strategies during pandemics. Recent projects include the Acne Care Online toolkit, the Active Brains cognitive health intervention, and the StopWatch smoking relapse study. She has contributed to systematic reviews on heart failure and physical activity, as well as community engagement frameworks in public health research.
