Rosemary Sainty

Rosemary Sainty is a Senior Lecturer and Scholarly Teaching Fellow in the Management Discipline Group at the University of Technology Sydney (UTS) Business School. She specializes in corporate responsibility, sustainability, and governance, with a focus on ethical leadership and organizational psychology. Her research addresses challenges in corporate governance, particularly in banking and finance sectors, and explores how business schools can better prepare graduates for ethical dilemmas.

Educational Background: Rosemary holds a PhD from UTS Business School, focusing on corporate sustainability and responsibility leadership at board level. She also has a Master’s in Professional Ethics and is a registered psychologist.

Research Interests: Her work emphasizes stakeholder governance, corporate purpose, and the role of business schools in fostering ethical practices. She co-founded the Australian Positive Organisational Scholarship Community of Practice and has led projects like the National Responsible Business Practice Project, endorsed by the Australian Government and Prince of Wales.

Grants & Leadership: She led the 2023 grant 'The Impact of Future-Oriented Capabilities in Professional Contexts.' She serves on the UTS Business School Board and has held roles in Transparency International Australia and the UN Global Compact Network Australia.
