Rose Sciaroni is a teaching assistant professor of honors at the University of Nevada, Reno’s Honors College. She teaches classes, serves on the curriculum committee, and mentors students through creative projects and research. She is also director of precollege programming. Previously, she was a faculty member of the music department at the university, teaching courses in music education, music appreciation, and introduction to the arts, and supervising student teaching interns. She has also taught in multiple precollege programs, including the Fairview Violin Project in Bloomington, Indiana, and the Reno Philharmonic Association Kids (RPAK) program in Reno, Nevada. She is a professional violinist and performs with the Reno Philharmonic Orchestra and the Reno Chamber Orchestra.
