Dr. Rose-Marie Satherley is a Lecturer in Clinical Psychology at the University of Surrey's School of Psychology. Funded by NIHR, she develops integrated healthcare pathways for coeliac disease management while investigating psychological aspects of dietary-managed chronic conditions.
Research Focus: Designs co-produced interventions to support individuals with coeliac disease in maintaining gluten-free diets while promoting wellbeing. Additional expertise includes gastrointestinal health, diabetes management, and healthcare integration. Current NIHR-funded project collaborates with patients and providers to redesign coeliac care pathways.
Publications: Satherley's qualitative research examines patient experiences in chronic disease management, including studies on screening attitudes, dietary distress, and healthcare access barriers.
