Rose Ehemann

Dr. Rose Ehemann serves as a lecturer at Nürtingen-Geislingen University of Applied Sciences while maintaining her primary role as director of the Ateliers-Living Museum at St. Gallen North Psychiatric Hospital in Switzerland since 2002. She also acts as artistic consultant for the Ateliers Day Care Center in Heimstätten Wil, Switzerland, and conducts international teaching activities in German and English. Her career bridges clinical art therapy, cultural management, and academic research.

Dr. Ehemann's research centers on therapeutic applications of art in psychiatric contexts, including development of indication catalogues for art therapy with psychiatric patients and pioneering work on Virtual Reality integration. She presented her VR research at the German Society for Psychiatry, Psychotherapy and Neurology (DGPPN) conference in Berlin (2011) and initiated international art therapy symposia to advance research discourse. Her work extends to cultural management through research on living museum implementation requirements.

As founding member and president of the Living Museum Society, she drives institutional development while previously leading the professional association for creative psychotherapy and art therapy. Her clinical research includes training programs for medical professionals and practical evaluation of therapeutic methodologies.
