Rosalie Koenig is an Instructional Assistant Professor and Administrator in Agronomy at the University of Florida, serving as Interim Director for the Center for Stress Resilient Agriculture and Agroecology graduate programs. She oversees research, education, and extension activities, fostering global partnerships in agroecology. Her administrative roles include leading the International Programs office within the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences and managing a $13.7 million USAID project in Haiti.
Prior to her current roles, Dr. Koenig led USDA-funded projects developing experiential teaching materials and mentored 25 graduate students across UF and LSU. Her interdisciplinary work bridges agronomy with social sciences, supported by collaborations in Costa Rica, Haiti, Honduras, Ghana, and Senegal. She contributed to the USAID Horticulture Innovation Lab and Borlaug Scholar program, training international students at UF.
Dr. Koenig’s expertise lies in global agricultural resilience, educational innovation, and cross-border academic initiatives. Her career emphasizes practical training, student success, and fostering international agricultural partnerships to address global food security challenges.
