Rosa Celorio

Rosa Celorio serves as Associate Dean for International and Comparative Legal Studies and Burnett Family Distinguished Professorial Lecturer at George Washington University Law School, where she directs the International and Comparative Law program and teaches International Law, International Law of Human Rights, and International Human Rights of Women.

Her research focuses on international human rights law, particularly intersectional discrimination affecting marginalized communities, women’s rights, climate change impacts on Indigenous peoples and children, and gender perspectives in legal frameworks. Recent scholarly work demonstrates evolving trends toward intersectional autonomy in women’s rights and climate litigation strategies.
