Rory Hopcraft

Dr. Rory Hopcraft is a Lecturer in Cyber Security at the University of Plymouth, affiliated with the School of Engineering, Computing and Mathematics (Faculty of Science and Engineering). His research focuses on the international governance of maritime cybersecurity, cyber-awareness training, and the intersection of geopolitics with digital infrastructure. He actively contributes to the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) related to innovation and infrastructure (SDG 9) and responsible consumption (SDG 12) through his work on maritime cybersecurity resilience.
