Ronan Bolton is Professor of Sustainable Energy at the University of Edinburgh's School of Social and Political Science. His research examines the interconnected policy, market and regulatory challenges of transforming carbon-based energy systems. He has held visiting positions at the University of Melbourne and Leibniz Institute for Regional Development and Structural Planning in Berlin.
