Dr. Ronald Anguzu is an Assistant Professor at the Medical College of Wisconsin's Institute for Health & Humanity. A physician-scientist from Uganda, he holds an MBChB from Makerere University School of Medicine, an MPH from Makerere University School of Public Health, and a PhD in Public and Community Health from MCW.
Research Focus
His research addresses health disparities through three primary domains: 1) Maternal/Child Health (adolescent pregnancy, hypertensive disorders), 2) Mental Health Interventions (mHealth platforms for depression), and 3) Social Determinants (housing instability, lead exposure risks). His work bridges Milwaukee-based community partnerships and global health initiatives in Uganda.

- Global mental health implementation lead for Ugandan adolescent mothers
- Recipient of Gates Foundation and CUGH awards for health equity work
Education & Service
He teaches epidemiology and biostatistics while mentoring students. Actively contributes to five major public health organizations focused on maternal health, sex differences, and cardiovascular epidemiology.
