Rona Novick is the Dean of the Azrieli Graduate School of Jewish Education and Administration at Yeshiva University and holds the Raine and Stanley Silverstein Chair in Professional Ethics and Values. She is a Full Professor with tenure and concurrently serves as Associate Clinical Professor of Child Psychology at North Shore-Long Island Jewish Medical Center. Dr. Novick is Co-Educational Director of the Hidden Sparks program, supporting day schools and Yeshivas, and previously directed the Fanya Gottesfeld Heller Division of Doctoral Studies (2008-2014).

Her research focuses on Social Emotional Learning, Bully Prevention, Family-School Partnerships, and Special Education. She pioneered the BRAVE bully prevention program and authored Helping Your Child Make Friends. Her work addresses child trauma, anxiety disorders, and early childhood behavior development.
Dr. Novick received the Lauretta Bender Annual Lecturer Award in 2010 for her contributions to child psychology. She has led the Alliance for School Mental Health and developed programs to strengthen parent-school collaborations.
Her professional service includes roles at the Ackerman Institute for Family Therapy and extensive conference presentations on parenting strategies and social-emotional learning.
