Moshe Sokolow serves as the Fanya Gottesfeld-Heller Professor of Jewish Education and Associate Dean at Yeshiva University's Azrieli Graduate School of Jewish Education and Administration, where he also earned all his academic degrees.

His research critically examines Jewish educational frameworks through three interconnected lenses: developing content standards for Limmudei Kodesh instruction, reconciling traditional interpretation with innovative approaches in Bible education, and analyzing Aristotelian and Deweyan philosophies in character formation. He pioneers methodologies for teaching classical Jewish texts, Israel studies, and prayer within modern educational contexts while emphasizing habit-based ethical development.
