Romy Peschl is a Researcher in the Department of Law at the European University Institute (EUI), part of the 2024 cohort. Her work focuses on international law, human rights, and feminist legal theory, particularly in the context of armed conflict.

Romy is currently working on her thesis titled Taking a feminist lens to international humanitarian law: Re-centring the individual in the law of armed conflict, under the supervision of Professor Silvia Suteu.
