- Lab: Perceptual-Motor Dynamics Laboratory
His work investigates how sensory feedback, cortical processing, and environmental threats influence motor control and postural stability. Recent studies examine kinesthetic targeting, torque feedback during balance, and neural plasticity in response to sensorimotor delays.
Romeo Chua's research spans 2024 to 2007, with a focus on sensory integration, reflex modulation, and implicit/explicit motor learning. Key methodologies include startle reflex analysis, tendon vibration experiments, and electrophysiological recordings.
He supervises thesis-based programs in Kinesiology, including Master of Arts, Master of Science, and Doctor of Philosophy. His lab explores perceptual-motor dynamics through experimental paradigms involving postural threat, bimanual coordination, and visuomotor adaptation.
