Roman Sustek

Roman Sustek is an Associate Professor (Reader) in Economics at Queen Mary University of London's School of Economics and Finance. His research focuses on housing markets, monetary policy, and macroeconomic dynamics. He previously worked at the Bank of England and held academic roles at Iowa, Nottingham, and Southampton Universities. He serves as Associate Editor of the European Economic Review and collaborates with institutions like the Federal Reserve Bank of St. Louis and LSE's Centre for Macroeconomics.

Education: PhD from Carnegie Mellon University's Tepper School of Business (2006), preceded by work at the Czech National Bank. His teaching spans advanced macroeconomics, monetary policy, and housing economics at both undergraduate and graduate levels.
