Roman Jednak

Roman Jednak serves as an Associate Investigator at the Research Institute of the McGill University Health Centre (RI-MUHC) at the Glen site and holds an academic appointment as Assistant Professor in the Department of Pediatric Surgery within McGill University's Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences. He maintains clinical affiliation with the Department of Pediatric Surgery, Division of Urology at the McGill University Health Centre (MUHC).

His research specializes in pediatric urological disorders with primary emphasis on:

• Clinical management of urinary tract obstruction
• Neurogenic bladder pathophysiology
• Hydronephrosis classification systems
• Bladder augmentation techniques
• Hypospadias repair complications
• Testicular development anomalies

Recent publications (2014-2015) demonstrate consistent focus on clinical outcomes in pediatric urology, including validation of the UTD classification system for hydronephrosis, urodynamic assessments following spinal cord untethering, and innovative approaches to antibiotic prophylaxis in reconstructive surgery.
