Romain Gola is an Associate Professor in ICT Law at the Institut Mines-Télécom Business School, specializing in Business and E-commerce Law. He is also a licensed lawyer with the Ontario Bar (Canada) and affiliated with the Interdisciplinary Laboratory of Media Law and Social Change (LID2MS) at Aix-Marseille University.
- Education: HDR in Legal Sciences (Private Law, 2015), LL.D (Law, 2002), Barrister & Solicitor (2007), Bachelor degrees in Common Law (2004) and Civil Law (2003).
His research focuses on the intersection of technology and legal frameworks, particularly in digital commerce, privacy, and algorithmic regulation. He has published extensively on GDPR compliance, influencer marketing regulation, and the legal challenges of online marketplaces.
