Prof. Dr. Roland M. Schmid is a Professor of Internal Medicine specializing in Gastroenterology, Hepatology, and Endocrinology at the Technical University of Munich (TUM), where he serves as Director of the Department of Internal Medicine II at Klinikum rechts der Isar.
