Roger McVey is Professor of Piano and Head of Keyboard Studies at the Lionel Hampton School of Music, University of Idaho, where he has been a faculty member since 2013. He is affiliated with the College of Letters, Arts and Social Sciences and leads piano pedagogy and performance initiatives within the school.
His research and artistic focus lies in piano performance, chamber music, and contemporary American music. He is a dedicated advocate for new music and has collaborated with leading composers such as Julia Wolfe, Marc Mellits, Libby Larsen, and Eric Ewazen.
