Roger Machlis is an Adjunct Professor at New York University Stern School of Business, joining in Fall 2022. He previously taught courses such as "Law and Social Values" at the Wharton School and "Navigating Complex Challenges in Business" at Tel Aviv University’s Coller School of Management.
- Education: B.S.E. in Economics (1982) from the University of Pennsylvania, J.D. (1986) from NYU School of Law
His professional experience includes a 25-year tenure at Credit Suisse, where he served as Managing Director and General Counsel of Global Asset Management, advising on legal, regulatory, and governance matters. Prior to that, he worked as Senior Counsel at Citibank and began his legal career at Simpson Thacher & Bartlett.
Roger’s research interests focus on the intersection of law, ethics, and business leadership, with a strong emphasis on compliance and corporate governance frameworks in global financial institutions.
