Roger Brooks is a Visiting Researcher at the Management School of Lancaster University, affiliated with the Department of Management Science. His work focuses on simulation methodologies and stochastic modeling.
- BA (Hons) in Mathematics, Oxford University
- MSc and PhD in Operational Research, Birmingham University
Research interests include:
- Model simplification and level of detail
- Simulation output analysis
- Agent-based simulation and complex adaptive systems
- Applications of simulation
Recent research explores discrete-event simulation assumptions, with affiliations to the Health Systems Simulation group and STOR-i Centre for Doctoral Training.
