Roger Bourne is an Associate Professor at the University of Sydney specializing in Medical Imaging Science. As Course Director for Medical Imaging Science, he teaches undergraduate and postgraduate medical physics while leading research on magnetic resonance methods for cancer diagnosis. He chairs the University's Prostate Cancer Special Interest Group.
Bourne holds a BSc and PhD from the University of Queensland (1983, 1990) and a Graduate Certificate in Education Studies from the University of Sydney (2011).
