Sahand Hooshmand is a Lecturer in the Discipline of Medical Imaging Sciences at the University of Sydney and a Radiographer at Lumus Imaging. He holds a BMedSci (2015), MDR (2018), and PhD (2023). His research focuses on breast cancer imaging, radiation dose optimization, and associated risks. He coordinates the Medical Image Optimisation and Perception Group (MIOPeG) and edits the Journal of Medical Radiation Science (JMRS).
