Roger Aganze

Roger Aganze is a PhD candidate and Research Fellow at the Center for Research on Social Enterprises and Microfinance Institutions (CERSEM) within the Department of Management and Innovation, School of Business and Law, at the University of Agder, Norway. His research focuses on microfinance organizations, particularly the dynamics of informal financial community-based groups in low-income countries, supervised by Roy Mersland (University of Agder) and Bert D'Espallier (KU Leuven, Belgium).

His 2025 publication in the Journal of Development Studies examines the sustainability of informal financial groups using survival analysis.
