Rocío Ramos Membrive

Rocío Ramos Membrive is a Radiopharmacy Specialist and Teaching Professor at the University of Navarra Clinic, where she serves as Head of the Radiopharmacy Unit in Madrid since 2018. She graduated in Chemistry from the University of Barcelona (2013), earned her PhD in Science from the University of Navarra (2020), and has collaborated on six state-funded research projects.

Her research focuses on:

• Developing preclinical radiopharmaceuticals for theranostic applications (e.g., labeling nanoparticles, monoclonal antibodies, peptides)
• Quality Assurance Systems in Hospital Radiopharmacy
• Radiometabolic therapy and theragnostic pairs
• 3D dosimetry gels

In her academic career, she has authored 6 articles in indexed journals, co-authored 7 clinical trials on metabolic therapy with ionizing radiation, and participated in over 8 projects for radiopharmaceutical development. She also leads educational initiatives such as the PET Course and the 'Fundamentals of Radiochemical Sciences and Nuclear Pharmacy' course.

She is Vice President of the Spanish Society of Radiopharmacy (since 2020) and Head of Studies for inter-hospital radiopharmacy update sessions (2021–2024). Her work bridges clinical radiopharmacy, research, and teaching.
