Professor Robin Warner is an Honorary Fellow at the Australian National Centre for Ocean Resources and Security (ANCORS) within the University of Wollongong's Faculty of Business and Law. He holds a Ph.D. in Law from the University of Sydney (2006). His research focuses on oceans governance, marine environmental law, climate change impacts, and high seas biodiversity conservation. He has supervised over 13 PhD students, including studies on IUU fishing, marine genetic resources, and climate change in maritime security.
Key contributions include advancing legal frameworks for marine protected areas, dynamic spatial management, and the Blue Economy. He has authored over 99 research outputs, including seminal works on Antarctic environmental security and strategic environmental assessment (SEA) applications.
