Robin Matoza

Robin S. Matoza is a Professor in the Department of Earth Science at the University of California, Santa Barbara (UCSB). His research focuses on volcano seismology, acoustics, and infrasound, with particular emphasis on understanding volcanic processes through seismic and infrasound data. He leads studies on volcanic eruption dynamics, infrasound propagation, and the application of seismoacoustic methods for hazard mitigation.
