Robin F Miller is the Edytha Macy Gross Professor of Humanities and Professor of Russian and Comparative Literature at Brandeis University. She holds affiliations with the Department of English, Women's and Gender Studies, European Cultural Studies, Comparative Literature, and History of Ideas. Her scholarship focuses on 19th-century Russian and European novels, particularly works by Dostoevsky, Tolstoy, and Dickens.

Her current projects explore Tolstoy and Dostoevsky's engagement with earthly concerns, alongside a study of Kazuko's Letters from Japan during times of upheaval.
Notable awards include the Guggenheim Fellowship, multiple Mandel Awards, and a Special Award for editing 'Tolstoy and the Genesis of War and Peace.' She has received grants from the ACLS and Whiting Foundation, and served as Dean of Arts and Sciences and Chair of her department.
