Liza Knapp, holding the Roberta and William Campbell Professor of Humanities chair at Columbia University, specializes in 19th-century Russian literature with a focus on Tolstoy and Dostoevsky, the novel in Russia and the West, Russian poetry, and Tsvetaeva.
