Dr. Robin Cass joined Catawba College in July 2024 as Vice Provost, bringing extensive experience in higher education leadership. She oversees academic initiatives aimed at fostering excellence and student success across the institution.
Previously at Rochester Institute of Technology (RIT), Dr. Cass held multiple leadership positions including Graduate Program Director at the School of Art, Director of Creative Engagement Programs, Provost's Associate for the Integration of Technology, the Arts, and Design, and Interim Dean in the College of Art and Design.
Her professional focus centers on Higher Education Administration, Arts and Design Education, and Technology Integration in Education. Dr. Cass is deeply committed to innovation in academic leadership and creating inclusive environments where students can thrive personally and professionally.
Dr. Cass earned her Doctor of Education in Higher Education Administration from Northeastern University, a Master of Fine Arts from Alfred University, and a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Sculpture/Glass from the Rhode Island School of Design. She also holds a Management and Leadership Education certificate from Harvard Graduate School of Education.
