Roberta Radley is an Emeritus Professor at Berklee College of Music, renowned for her 50-year career in music education. She served as Assistant Chair of the Ear Training department (1997–2021) and co-authored the core curriculum Ear Training 1–4. Her work focuses on innovative methods in ear training and music theory.
Education: BA in Composition (Berklee), MA in Linguistics (University of Massachusetts).
Research interests include aural skills development, music pedagogy, and rhythmic analysis. Awards include Berklee’s Distinguished Faculty Award (2020) and the UPCEA New England Regional Award (2020).
Active in online education since 2002, she authored courses like Harmonic Ear Training and Ear Training Fundamentals. She retired from on-campus administrative roles in 2021 but continues teaching online, emphasizing her dedication to accessible music education.
