Robert Udelsman, MD, MBA, FACS, FACE, is the William H. Carmalt Professor of Surgery and Oncology at Yale University School of Medicine, serving as Chairman of Surgery and Surgeon-in-Chief of Yale-New Haven Hospital. He specializes in endocrine surgery, with a focus on minimally invasive techniques for thyroid and parathyroid disorders. His research has led to over 300 publications and multiple awards, including leadership roles in the American Association of Endocrine Surgeons and International Association of Endocrine Surgeons. Udelsman is also dedicated to medical education, training future surgical leaders.
