Robert Truszkowski serves as Professor in the Department of Visual Arts within the Faculty of Media, Art and Performance at the University of Regina. He holds an MFA in Print Media from Concordia University (2004) and a BFA in Printmaking from Queen's University (2000), with prior teaching appointments at Queen's, Concordia, and Haliburton School of the Arts.
His research investigates contemporary printmaking through conceptual frameworks connecting popular culture, text systems, communication theory, and rap music with technical innovation in UV silkscreen and non-toxic processes. This work critically examines print media's historical role in knowledge democratization while advancing studio methodologies.
Professor Truszkowski maintains an active exhibition record including the 2024 'Weeb' solo exhibition at Estevan Museum of Art and multiple Tokyo Screenprint Biennial selections (2015, 2018, 2023), demonstrating sustained creative output across international venues.
His professional recognition includes:

As educator and founder of Hangashima Press, he mentors students in technical mastery and conceptual development within print media.
