Josh Dannin

Josh Dannin is a Visiting Lecturer in Studio Art at Dartmouth College and founder of Directangle Press, a letterpress and risograph printshop/artist residency established in 2014 in New Hampshire's White Mountains. He coedits Power Washer Zine, a semiannual screenprinting publication featuring artist interviews, experimental essays, and lo-fi graphics.

His educational background includes:

• BFA in Studio Art (Printmaking & Photography) from Kutztown University of Pennsylvania
• MFA in Printmaking from Ohio University

Dannin's artistic practice investigates the convergence of industrial production methods, handcrafted techniques, and digital innovation through relief and risograph processes. His research manifests in nationally and internationally exhibited works exploring how mechanical reproduction interfaces with artisanal traditions, with recurring themes of accessibility in contemporary print culture.

He maintains active professional engagement through Directangle Press residencies and workshops, fostering emerging printmakers while exhibiting at venues including International Print Center New York, Anderson Ranch Arts Center, and Cork Printmakers across multiple continents.
