Robert Triest is a Professor of Economics at Northeastern University's College of Social Sciences and Humanities, where he served as Department Chair from 2018 to 2024. Previously, he was Vice President and Economist at the Federal Reserve Bank of Boston, leading the Macroeconomic Applications and Policy Studies group and directing the New England Public Policy Center.
